Advanced Office Systems was incorporated in the State of Tennessee on October 1, 1979. The principals of the company are Terry L. Kerbs, President and Sid Law, Vice President. Both owners have been in the office equipment industry since the early 1970's. Prior to starting their business, they served various positions with 3M Corporation and Savin Corporation.
Starting with five employees, AOS has grown to approximately 40 employees, with offices in Knoxville and Chattanooga. Sudsidiary companies are, A.O.S. Leasing, Inc., and Kerbs-Law Properties.
Current products marketed by AOS Knoxville are: Canon and Savin Digital, Multifunctional, B&W or Full Color Copiers and Printers, Canon Facsimile, and Risograph Duplicators.
Products marketed by AOS Chattanooga are: Risograph Duplicators, Canon Digital, Multifunctional, B&W or Full Color Copiers and Printers, and Canon Facsimile.
Our marketing area covers from Dalton, Georgia to the Tennessee/Kentucky line. Our home office, consisting of 17,000 square feet, is located at 10645 Dutchtown Rd., in West Knoxville. Our Chattanooga branch, consisting of 4,000 square feet, is located at 7694 East Brainerd Rd.
Our Service and Sales Departments have won awards for excellence in service and sales in this area. All technicians are factory trained. Our Service Department utilizes an Automated Dispatch System in conjunction with the OMD Vison Computer system to efficiently provide dispatching and account management services to our customers. Overall, our Service organization has a combined experience of more than 120 years in maintaining customer satisfaction.
